My soul is immortal.

Yet it hides inside mortal flesh

Decaying bones

And failing organs.

Why does it rely

On flesh

For protection?

It is trapped!

Locked in its cage

A cage that it chose

To be in.

“Be free!” I yell.

Yet it still stays.

Why?

Why limit

You capabilities?
