What if i told

You

That I’m crazy about you.

What if I told

You

That I never want to let you go.

What if I told

You

That I see a future with us in it.

I know that might sound crazy.

I know that that’s not the social norm.

But remember what is the social norm.

Mass incarceration.

Homophobia.

Human trafficking.

So why is my proclamation of love

Seen as a crime?

A recluse.

An outsider.

Something so pure

So true

It couldn’t even hurt a fly.

So what if?

What if you unsubscribed from the social norm?

And the fear.

The pain.

And took that Anxiety’s

Leap of Faith?

What if?
