"CÁMO IS NOT DEAD!" (birthed 2017) is one of CÁMO's earliest works. Forced to go to an all-boys private catholic PWI, her only outlet was art. Inspired by Basquiat's famous graffiti art titled "SAMO IS DEAD", CÁMO breathes life into Basquiat's dead Samo. Furthermore, CÁMO argues that SHE is the new age Basquiat.
