"CÁMO IS NOT DEAD!" (birthed 2017) is one of Reina's earliest works. Forced to go to an all-boys private catholic PWI, her only outlet was art. Inspired by Basquiat's famous graffiti art titled "SAMO IS DEAD", Reina breathes life into Basquiat's dead Samo. Furthermore, Reina argues that SHE is the new age Basquiat.
